Illuminations
This practice-based research investigates how Light and Space art can enable an altered state of consciousness using the immaterial medium of light. This body of research explores the extravagancies of individual subjective experiences of light installations to reflect on the true power light can have through controlled environments. These experiments were developed following theoretical research surrounding consciousness, including wakeful consciousness.

Inbetween
This immersive installation builds a paradox between city living and nature. Responding to research into benefits of nature on our mental well-being, the work explores every-day materials and how they can be used to mimic nature and provide a pause in our everyday. Offering an inbetween moment in the city, this installation contours over the body in an intimate opportunity for mindfulness.
