Co-Living 2030 with Space 10

Collaborating with Space 10, Morgie Sha'ban and Kara Andarini to design speculative co-living concepts set in 2030. Our concept 'CommunicARe' looks towards the changing spectrum of technology and how it may alter the way we live. Presented to an audience and exhibited at Central Saint Martins in 2017.

CommunicARe is a shared living tech hub that combines virtual and real communities around the world to combat some of the negative consequences of modern technology. Through AR, the hub connects communities round the globe to combat loneliness. CommunicARe consists of 3 speculative spaces exploring communication in living environments in 2030, we imagined “Live; lounge space” “The Circle; community space” and “Connect; work space”. Each exploring AR and the way we may depend on technology in future. Speculating on wide-spread use of AR technologies around home, work, and social experiences, we questioned the effect this may have on our mental health and designed an environment which brings people together.
